Designing Sustainability: Materials, Mitigation, and Management

In this session, we’ll look at sustainability with a wider lens, focusing on collaborative, interdisciplinary, and connected solutions as we explore products, the built environment, and policy.

Design Redefined

Design Redefined is a seminar series that challenges conventional perceptions of design. Here, we push beyond aesthetics, usability, and marketability, to explore design as a powerful tool for change.

Our aim is to bring together high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as design professionals, to collectively redefine design. Each session will feature engaging panel discussions with thought leaders, sparking new perspectives and ideas.  Following these discussions, participants will engage in hands-on exploration of key design principles, while enjoying light refreshments and networking.

The museum will grant free admission for all visitors beginning at 3:00 pm on the session dates. However, please be aware that seating is limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.

Design Redefined is a collaboration between iFp, MIT Museum, and MIT MAD.
